Eby2 Project Page

Marsh Lake Cabin

Here are plans from the Eby2 Cabin in Canada. This home has been completed, see the pictures below.

This modernist cabin was designed as a retirement home by a large lake. The special wall details shown are per the local building codes. The 2 story design is based on the owner's initial drawings. This design is essentially two rectangles, one set perpendicular atop the other. The second floor is mainly carried by 3 large exposed glulam beams to support the cantilevers on each end. There are large windows on the lake side to take advantage of the spectacular views. (note: not all drawings are shown below. Some drawing details have been eliminated.)
