Owens-Amon Project Page

These are the plans for the Owens-Amon Residence in Lawrence, KS. We hope to have some construction pictures soon.

This is a more traditionally styled home and was designed with the main residence on the upper floor with the lower floor offering the potential to be operated as a bed and breakfast at some point in the future. The design is oriented mainly to the south to take advantage of solar gain and to the east to take in the lake view. This home is designed to utilize ICFs for the exterior walls and conventional framing for the interior walls and roof. The roof is conventional trusses. This design was developed from the owners initial needs and refined from there. (note: not all drawings are shown below. Some drawing details have been eliminated.)
