Samson Project Page

Here are plans from the Samson Residence in Canada. We have received some additional construction pictures. Hopefully, we will see more pictures soon.

This modern home was designed with the main residence on the upper floor and a rental apartment below. This home is designed to utilize ICFs for the exterior walls and conventional framing for the interior walls and roof. The large center shed roof is carried by 3 large, exposed glulam beams. This design was based on the owner's initial drawings. One unique feature is how the glulam beams are carried well beyond the south exterior wall over the deck to provide shading and a sheltered area. (note: not all drawings are shown below. Some drawing details have been eliminated.)
